We're now looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UX/UI Research Intern to join our team and help us improve user experiences.
Position Overview:
As a UX/UI Research Intern, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to uncover insights into why individuals hesitate to sell their possessions and why others are reluctant to purchase second-hand items. You will conduct user research, gather valuable data, and assist with UX design and wireframing to enhance our platform's usability and visual appeal. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a startup's growth while gaining valuable experience in UX/UI research and design.
Responsibilities:
Conduct user research to understand the pain points and barriers associated with selling and buying second-hand items.
Plan and execute user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
Analyze research findings to identify trends, user preferences, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the product and development teams to translate research insights into actionable UX/UI design solutions.
Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to improve the overall user experience.
Participate in design discussions and contribute ideas to enhance the platform's visual appeal and functionality.
Stay updated with UX/UI design trends and best practices.
Support the team in various UX/UI-related tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
Pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI Design, Psychology, or a related field (or recently graduated).
Strong interest in user experience research and design.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present research findings clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in Figma, or other design and wireframing software.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for user interface design and aesthetics.
Enthusiasm for understanding user behaviour and solving complex design challenges.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
