We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer with React and Chrome Extension experience to help us create seamless, efficient, and forward-thinking web experiences. At Picker, we’re passionate about innovation, cutting-edge technologies, AI and truly remarkable user experiences - we hope that you feel the same way. The development is already way underway, but with your support we’ll be able to bring it to the next level as we are preparing for our US launch.
This is a fully remote position. Whether it's the snowy peaks of the Alps, a cozy café in your hometown, or the sunny beaches of Bali, your work location is truly up to you. Notably, while we champion the power of remote work, we also believe in the value of in-person connection. Twice a year, we host company-wide meetups, ranging from the scenic landscapes of Sweden to an excotic location abroad. It's not just work; it's also fun and inspiration! Develop and maintain our web-based applications using React.js and JavaScript.
Build and refine browser extensions for Google Chrome.
Collaborate with the team to define application objectives and functionality.
Create robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
Debug and resolve technical issues.
Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies and standards.
Assist in the coordination of delivering new product features.
First and foremost, we are looking for skilled programmers with a desire to create something meaningful, used and loved by millions of people worldwide. With that being said, we would prefer if you have the following;
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Frontend Developer.
Expertise in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other relevant web design coding languages.
Extensive experience in building Chrome Extensions.
Experience in responsive and adaptive design.
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
Experience working with version control systems (Git).
Experience in working with APIs and asynchronous database queries.
We consider it a big bonus if you;
Also have knowledge of other JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as Node.js, Vue.js, Angular, etc., and also possesses a comprehension of full stack development.
