The role

Do you dream about building a world-class tech startup? Join Handyfix, an emerging startup supported by seasoned founders from reputable companies like Porterbuddy, Altoros, Trademate Sports, and Investant. As our Co-founder and CEO, you will spearhead the development of Handyfix into a preeminent consumer-centric platform and service. Your primary objectives will revolve around driving revenue growth, overseeing platform operations, and ensuring exceptional satisfaction for both customers and suppliers. Collaborating closely with the CTO, you will guide product development initiatives and play a pivotal role in building an exceptional team that propels Handyfix to success.

As CEO and co-founder, you will be offered an attractive equity package as part of the overall compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating a vision and strategic leadership for Handyfix to shape the direction of the company.  

• Recruiting and building a team to execute your vision and strategy.

• Leading funding rounds and building investor relationships. 

• Act as the primary spokesman for Handyfix.

• Develop and maintain a strong company culture and vision that inspires employees and drives results.

• Ensure Handyfix's financial health through effective fiscal management, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.

• Cultivate strong relationships with partners, customers, and shareholders.

• Build strategic alliances and partnerships with other organizations to drive growth and innovation.

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective execution of Handyfix's strategy.

  
  

Qualifications 

• Relevant academic background.

• Experience in leadership roles.

• Preferably relevant sector experience (e.g. building, construction, technology, consumer services, platforms)

• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate tasks.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal/leadership skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
