At FastTrack Software, we are busy revolutionizing the Privileged Access Management (PAM) market with our Admin By Request product – and it's happening fast. That's why we're looking for talented individuals to join our sharp development team.
Do you want to help set the agenda in a well-established company that's moving at lightning speed? Are you motivated by creating solutions that make life easier for hundreds of thousands of users? Do you have several years of experience writing robust C++ code, possibly across different platforms? Then you might be the one we're looking for.
You will work on the new and continued development of our products – including exploring a new and exciting business area. Tasks range from low-level drivers and system services to developing our applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux. In addition to writing good code, you will also act as a sparring partner for the future development direction, conduct code reviews, assist with developer support, and help establish an automated build and test setup. You should feel comfortable in a DevOps-based environment, where the focus is on making things work as a whole – and occasionally, this may involve direct interaction with customers to understand specific issues.
To succeed in this role, it's essential that you have several years of experience in C++ development and are open to exploring new platforms. Your experience is likely based on a relevant academic background to ensure a strong theoretical foundation. Besides being a skilled code craftsman, it's also important that you take a step back and contribute to the bigger picture. You should have a willingness to dive into the code to investigate specific symptoms or clarify options for a particular direction. Furthermore, it's a plus if you have experience with:
Developing applications across platforms (Windows, Mac, and Linux)
CI/CD pipelines for automated build/test/deployment
Low-level experience with TCP/IP and HTTP traffic
C or Objective-C
Other languages/platforms like C# and .NET
Most importantly, you should be a team player who thrives in an energetic team, where things move quickly. You should be solution-oriented and capable of thinking creatively to find solutions.
An exciting and challenging role in a rapidly growing company
A close-knit team of talented and motivated colleagues
The opportunity to have a real impact on day-to-day operations and technical direction
Very short decision-making processes
Abundant opportunities to experiment with different solution approaches and technologies for specific problems
We foster a startup culture, which means that freedom, flexibility, and participation are values we hold in high regard. It's not so important whether you're a morning person or a night owl – what matters most is that you want to be part of the shared story we aspire to create with our products.
You'll be based at our new office in the heart of Aalborg, overlooking the Limfjord. You'll also have the pleasure of working with fantastic colleagues who share a strong social bond.
