We're in the process of developing a groundbreaking medical device for monitoring middle ear health. Our approach involves measuring changes in middle ear pressure using acoustics.

We're seeking assistance in advancing our algorithms and preparing them for production. That's why we're looking for a Digital Signal Processing expert.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Detecting physiological events within an audio signal

• Filtering and noise reduction

• Real-time signal manipulation and masking

• GUI development

Regarding DSP, we plan to leverage conventional signal processing techniques, but we'll likely incorporate an additional layer of AI/ML trained to filter out background noise and detect events.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Python and DSP and has an interest in either translating results into embedded software or building production-quality software for end-users.

We're offering a project-based position until the end of 2023, with a potential extension for the right candidate.

• The position can be either part-time or full-time, depending on your availability.

• We're located at DTU in Lyngby, Copenhagen, and at Aarhus University (Katrinebjerg).

• While on-site work is preferred, partial remote work can be considered.
