Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the CTO, you will take part in the development of software from coding, testing, implementation, deployment, and support. 

  •  Consistently write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications. Employ best practices for designing scalable, extensible, secure applications. 

  • Design and develop web applications, web APIs and web services – see languages below.  

  • Develop release management strategies and configure automated deployment packages for deploying application and database changes to Staging and Production environments. 

  • Assist with development team code reviews, when necessary, and also help the Hydrogen and Renewables Analyst working with Python. 


Qualifications & Skills

  • BS in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field/experience.  

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with Vue/React and Python/Kotlin/SQL. 

  • Professional English. 

  • Good at writing clean, modular, readable, and testable code. 

  • Strong knowledge of Typescript + Vue + Tailwind, Python and PostgreSQL. 

  • Good knowledge of Kotlin + Maven + Springboot framework, a good understanding of REST API principles and best practices. 

  • Experience building microservices with Python + FastAPI. 

  • Proficient with CI/CD practices and production deployment using GitHub actions 

  • Experience developing in a Cloud Platform. 

  • Experience with Container (Docker) and Container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
