Are you a data-crunching DevOps/Backend Engineer, who wants to use cutting edge technology to build an amazing product used by thousands, processing billions of data points at incredible speed?
Morningscore is a Danish startup, founded in 2018, with a clear mission of becoming one of the 3 most popular SEO tools globally. Unlike competitors such as Ahrefs and Semrush, Morningscore gamifies the SEO experience for roughly 1000 customers across 30+ countries (and growing), which is why our service is rapidly increasing in popularity. Our product is not only loved by our customers, it's also 100% custom built by our amazing team.
We are currently a small team of 9 talented and quirky colleagues, diverse with 4 different nationalities. The majority work from our HQ in Odense, but a few colleagues work remotely. We don’t bulls**t when we say that we’re a klose-knit team (family) and that we have a LOT of fun. At Morningscore you’ll get your own personal space suit when joining and free access to the company’s purple tractor 🚜💜🧑🚀 (license required).
About the role 🤝
As our new DevOps/Backend Engineer you will be a critical part of our ambitious SaaS team, reporting directly to our CTO, Bjarne. We use state-of-art technology to do some intense data crunching, with billions of entries in our DB. We might be a small startup, but the service we’re working on is gigantic and incredibly powerful. We work with Open Source and our 100% custom made platform is built using Node.JS, ReactJS, MongoDB, and Apache Cassandra. Unintentionally, we run on the same stack as Netflix.
We’re independent workers but love collaborating to crack big challenges. With a flat organizational structure you’ll get a lot of creative freedom in this role and get the chance to have a massive impact on both our products and technologies.
This is first and foremost an onsite position in Odense. However, if you think you are the perfect candidate for this role and you’re not based nearby, we still encourage you to apply as long as you have the chance to work from our office at least 10 days per year. We’ll take care of your travel, hotel and food expenses.
