We are currently recruiting a team member for the role of Business Development Intern. The business development & growth team is responsible for architecting and executing growth initiatives, streamlining internal processes, as well as, leading transformational business development activities.
The business development & growth team works closely with management & technical functions across the company, board of directors, and external advisers in order to deliver successful projects. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to observe and contribute to the management of exciting, high-technology research & development projects.
The successful candidate’s specific contributions and responsibilities will include:
Scoping and qualification of growth opportunities
Interfacing with management, engineers, and scientists across the company, assisting in the execution of business development plans
Contributing to project management activities including project conception, resource allocation, monitoring, and reporting
Engage in generative collaboration at all stages of the business development project life-cycle
Share and contribute to a bold company vision
The ideal team member will possess the following basic qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science, either in-process or completed
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Command of the Norwegian language
Candidates possessing the following skills and experience will be regarded favorably:
Command of project management tools
Familiarity with accounting software
Proficiency with web development tools
Candidates having curiosity and interest in Oceans research, aquaculture, biotechnology, and environmental conservation are expected to find particularly good alignment with Marimetrics’ mission.
The internship is structured as a 4-month volunteer-based evaluation stage at a 0.6 to 1.0-time commitment. High-performing interns will have the option to join a project team at a competitive salary following the evaluation period. Remote work and/or office space at Forskningsparken, Oslo are both supported.
