Norkon continues to see high demand for all of our three solutions which have established us as a critical player in the market, and we're seeking two driven and goal-oriented Account Executives to join our team in Oslo, Norway.


Position :

As an Account Executive based in Oslo, you will drive our sales efforts and contribute to our international growth. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and nurturing incoming leads to closing deals. You will be responsible for tracking the status of our pipeline, working towards sales goals, and collaborating with the rest of the team to close your deals.

With your eagerness to learn, self-motivation, and consistency in executing sales activities, combined with Norkon’s sales methodology, you will engage with some of the world’s leading media companies and help them attract, engage and retain users through Norkon’s products.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Revenue Generation: Manage your pipeline, from prospecting and nurturing incoming leads to negotiation and close. Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively showcasing the value of our product Live Center, attend conferences and industry events. Work systematically with our CRM tool, develop your top-accounts list, and manage RFPs

  • Consultative approach to customer needs: Engage leads by actively seeking to understand their needs, pains, and challenges. Using your curiosity and eagerness to understand customers, you employ a consultative approach to position and configure solutions based on our products for customers that address their requirements effectively. Additionally, you will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that result in strong value for your customers and Noron.

  • Foster client relationships: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with clients while actively identifying and engaging with new leads. Work with our Customer Success Specialist to onboard new customers into our customer success practice.

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to execute strategic sales plans and provide input on continuous improvements of our go-to-market strategy. Drive the expansion of our client base by identifying opportunities for growth and market penetration.

  • Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Stay attuned to changing and emerging customer trends and be able to crystalize these into product roadmap input.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and proven success in saas sales roles, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Previous experience in media, news publishing, and digital media is highly advantageous.

  • Intrinsic drive and goal-oriented mentality allow you to conduct sales activities around your pipeline consistently. 

  • Client-Centric Approach: Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs, build rapport, and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, simply, and persuasively.

  • Organizational Skills: Structured and organized sales approach

  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and other relevant sales technologies.

  • Experience from similar roles in SaaS B2B

  • Experience from the media industry, either from the industry or from the perspective of a vendor

  • Interest in digital content, news publishing landscape, and or strong interest in understanding this highly unique industry

Live Center is a live content solution that helps media companies attract and engage users in live feeds of continuously-updating content. Our solution plays a crucial role in media outlets' drive to create content in formats that appeal to younger audiences. Live Center is used by sports news sites, global media companies, and national public broadcasters to publish content across their platforms. In short, It allows any content producer to create live feeds on their platforms that are highly engaging and natively a part of their ecosystem.

Location:

This position is based in Oslo, Norway. Occasional travel to international locations, including conferences, will be required.
