F3nice AS, a forward-thinking startup in Norway and Italy, seeks a dedicated Sustainability Analyst to join our team.

F3nice AS, founded in 2020, specializes in creating high-quality metal powder for additive manufacturing using recycled metal scrap. With a strong focus on sustainability, we are on a mission to revolutionize the additive manufacturing industry by providing a circular business model to our customers. F3nice's efforts toward sustainability and challenging the status quo of additive manufacturing feedstock have been internationally recognized. The company has participated in multiple joint-industry projects, been part of paid pilot projects, and generated several commercial sales. We have received funds from both EU and Norwegian grants and are funded by international corporations and venture capital.

 

If you join our company, you will be situated in our Norwegian office located at Startuplab Oslo, an early-stage investor for Norway's most ambitious technology startups. Here, you'll collaborate with visionary entrepreneurs and access valuable resources to enhance your success in our company. You will interact closely with our Italian R&D facility, located near Valtellina and surrounded by the Alps. In this facility, we are at the forefront of advancing sustainable metal powder for additive manufacturing, contributing to technological evolution.

 


Responsibility 

As a Sustainability Analyst at F3nice AS, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our sustainability objectives. You will work closely with various departments within the company, including research and development, production, and supply chain, to identify and implement sustainable practices.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Conducting comprehensive research and analysis to assess the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes and products. 

  • Mapping f3nice and conventional manufacturing processes in SimaPro, using Ecoinvent Database, and conducting comparative analysis.

  • Generating comprehensive Life Cycle Assessment reports and presenting data with multiple instruments (text reports, PowerPoint presentations, infographics).

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies and propose Key Performance Indications.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives, measuring progress, and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Preparing f3nice's annual Sustainability Report according to international guidelines and standards.

  • Tracking industry trends and regulations related to sustainability and providing recommendations to ensure compliance and staying ahead of market demands. 

  • Engaging with stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry experts, to foster sustainable partnerships and drive innovation. 

  • Educating and raising awareness among internal teams about sustainable practices and their importance.

 


Qualifications and Skills: 

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual with the following qualifications and skills: 

  • Educational Background: A master's degree in environmental science, sustainability, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sustainability analysis, preferably within the manufacturing or materials industry. 

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of sustainable development practices, circular economy principles, and life cycle assessments. 

  • Software Capability: SimaPro or similar software for process mapping and LCA evaluation.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in conducting research, data analysis, and interpreting complex information to develop actionable insights. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey sustainability strategies, engage stakeholders, and influence positive change. 

  • Team Player: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive work environment. 

  • Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. 

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a willingness to take on new challenges.
