If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you as a Business Controller at Northfork, a fast-growing SaaS company that specializes in providing cutting-edge recipe shopping solutions to the grocery industry.
Financial Process Improvement: Collaborate closely with the CEO and other stakeholders to identify areas for financial process enhancement. Implement streamlined procedures that ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
P&L Analysis: Analyze the company's Profit and Loss statements and develop a system to effectively break them down into products, product groups, and clients. Provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations based on this analysis.
Collaboration with External Accounting Firm: Work hand-in-hand with the external accounting firm, PE: Accounting, to ensure seamless financial operations, adherence to accounting standards, and timely reporting.
Data Analysis: Utilize financial data and other relevant metrics to make informed decisions, spot trends, and identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting the CEO in setting financial goals and targets for the company.
Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for the management team and board, including key performance indicators, financial metrics, and variance analysis.
Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist with any internal or external audits that may arise.
Experience: A few years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or a related role with exposure to tasks such as P&L analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is preferred.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, spot trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively work with the CEO, other teams, and external partners.
Self-Motivated and High-Energy: Demonstrated self-motivation, energy, and enthusiasm to take initiative and drive projects independently.
Positive Spirit: A positive attitude and an optimistic outlook to contribute to a collaborative and productive work environment.
