As a Full Stack Developer Intern with a focus on frontend development using React, Next.js, Node.js, Firebase, and REST API, you will play a vital role in building dynamic and scalable web applications.

Your main responsibility will be to develop interactive user interfaces, integrate frontend components with backend services, and ensure seamless communication with RESTful APIs. This internship will provide you with valuable experience in working with cutting-edge frontend libraries and technologies, and if you're able to deliver good results, you will get all the responsibility you want. You will be reporting directly to our CTO. If all parties are satisfied, there is a possibility of getting a student position after the internship is completed.

You are

• Based in Copenhagen

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Familiarity with frontend libraries and frameworks such as React, Next.js, and Node.js

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend and backend services

• Knowledge of Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service (BaaS) platforms for authentication and database management

• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.Great English language skills

• Reliable and able to work independently, as you will be working remotely

  
  

Your tasks

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance and usability.

• Integrate frontend components with backend services, leveraging Node.js and RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data flow and functionality.

• Implement authentication and user management functionalities using Firebase or similar technologies.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve frontend issues, ensuring a smooth user experience across different browsers and devices.

• Optimize application performance, including load times and responsiveness, through code and performance profiling techniques.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to best practices, and consistent coding standards.

• Stay up to date with the latest frontend libraries, frameworks, and industry trends, and apply them to improve development processes and user experience.

• Assist in documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure a smooth handoff of projects and foster a collaborative work environment.
