About us:

Hatch Incubator Program is an annual Helsinki-based pre-incubator business and entrepreneurship program for university students. Our team is comprised of dedicated volunteers, including experienced Hatch project leads, mentors, and new project team members. We welcome individuals who may not have a professional background but are eager to learn and grow in their roles. We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager to join our organizing team and support and engage with our vibrant community.

Role summary:

As the Community Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining strong relationships and fostering collaboration within our community. Responsibilities include managing communication (email, social media inbox, internal chat groups), helping with organizing events and excursions and ensuring a positive experience for participants, mentors, judges, and speakers.

Timeline:

July/August-December - New project team members begin work in July/August, contribute to project preparations, and participate in onboarding activities. The incubator application opens in late August, and the program runs from mid-October to mid-December.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong community relations and engagement

• Coordinate newsletters and communication with participants

• Support speakers throughout the program

• Prepare mentor and judge gifts & thank you's

• Send follow-up messages and reminders

• Foster connections and collaborations

• Assist with organizing weekly events from mid-October to mid-December
