Stockholm IT Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fullstack JavaScript Development Trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will have the opportunity to inspire and mentor aspiring developers, equipping them with the skills necessary to thrive as Fullstack JavaScript Developers. We are committed to preparing each individual for a successful transition into the workforce within a 6-month period.

Responsibilities:

Training and Curriculum Development:

• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions to teach the fundamentals of Fullstack JavaScript development.

• Create a comprehensive and structured curriculum, covering key concepts such as JavaScript, MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

• Develop practical assignments and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning and provide real-world experience.

• Continuously update and improve the training materials to align with industry trends and best practices.

  
  

Individual Mentorship and Support:

• Provide personalized mentorship and guidance to each participant, fostering their growth and development as Fullstack JavaScript Developers.

• Assist learners in overcoming coding challenges, offering effective problem-solving strategies and practical solutions.

• Track individual progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of participants.

  
  

Portfolio Development:

• Guide participants in building a professional portfolio that showcases their skills and projects developed during the training program.

• Propose relevant projects and offer guidance on project execution, emphasizing industry standards and best practices.

  
  

Interview Preparation:

• Prepare participants for job interviews by conducting mock interviews and providing feedback on technical and behavioral aspects.

• Assist in resume writing, cover letter creation, and job search strategies specific to Fullstack JavaScript development roles.

  
  

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Fullstack JavaScript Developer, with proficiency in the following technologies:

• JavaScript (ES6+)

• MongoDB

• Express.js

• React.js

• Node.js

• Git

• AWS

• Strong communication and teaching skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Passion for mentoring and guiding individuals, helping them succeed in their Fullstack JavaScript development careers.

• Proven problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to assist learners in tackling coding challenges effectively.

• Familiarity with modern development tools, version control systems, and industry best practices.

• Up-to-date knowledge of market demand and trends in Fullstack JavaScript development.

• Ability to create a comprehensive curriculum, engaging assignments, and projects that align with industry requirements.

• Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Experience in conducting job interview preparations and providing guidance on interview techniques is highly desirable.

  
  

Working Hours and Duration:

• The trainer will conduct training sessions from Monday to Thursday, with each session lasting 1 hour.

• In addition to training sessions, the trainer will dedicate time to curriculum development, assignment creation, and mentorship.

• This is a long-term position with a minimum commitment of 6 months, ensuring participants' comprehensive preparedness for the workforce.

  
  

Payment Details:

• You will receive competitive pay based on an hourly rate, which will be commensurate with market standards and your experience as a Fullstack JavaScript Development Trainer.

• In addition to the hourly rate, there will be incentives based on the success of your students, including their job placements and successful client engagements.

• As a trainer, you will have the opportunity to participate in client engagements as a consultant, further contributing to your income and expanding your professional network.
