CDO - Chief Design Officer

You are a UX, UI designer, and frontend developer with experience in D3fc, Recharts, or similar

You're making the whole front end for Tradervoice.io (at this point our back-end developer has set it up). You are very talented both as a frontend, UI, and UX designer and can dedicate yourself to work full time and remotely. Preferably, you need at least 3 years of experience with Javascript, 2 years with React (JS), and 1 year designing with a graphical library like d3fc (part of d3.js), Recharts, or similar. This is because you, besides making the whole front end, will be making technical tools for a line chart - just like you know them from Tradingview…

Communication:

Communicating with the rest of the team is essential, so you have to be an English speaker at a professional level and great at aligning expectations.

UI and front-end development - the area of ​​responsibility:

1. Creating technical analysis tools -  (like trend line tool, text tool, highlighter tool, measure tool and delete tool) for a chart page.

2. In cooperation with Backend Developer and Data Scientist build a notification tool and news wall. 

3. User Interface Design — Building a responsive and engaging web UI for mobile first and secondly for desktop.  

4. Theme design - Providing a consistent theme based on your UX work with the product so that it’s memorable to the users.

5. Digital Features Creation — Based on the UI design, assets need to be created for the users to use, like buttons having functions and changing states of elements.

   
   

Tech stack, front-end/web UI:

• Server-side: 

  • NodeJS + Express + super tokens - This is a relatively "thin" back-end that can easily be replaced with other technology.

• Client-side: 

  • React (JS) with MUI as the UI component library for digital feature creation and d3fc or Recharts as the chart library for creating technical analysis tools. Another library is also possible if UI has expert knowledge in it. 

    
    

UX - the area of ​​responsibility:

1. Designing user interfaces: through Figma create mockups that are intuitive and that are easy to navigate and implement.

2. Implementing designs: work closely with our full stack developer and the rest of the team to ensure that the designs are implemented correctly and the final product meets the user's needs 

3. Conducting user research: understand the needs and preferences of users by conducting user research and conducting usability testing through the Mturk survey tool and performing thinking-aloud protocols as a method of user testing remotely.

4. Analyzing user data: analyze user data from for instance Google Analytics and Mturk Surveys to understand user behavior and make data-driven decisions to improve the user experience and to find out how the content should flow in the designs.

5. Creating user personas: develop user personas based on research data to identify the needs, goals, and behaviors of different user groups.

Conduct process for quality control: develop a process that ensures that the quality of the UI implementation meets the expected standard.
