Full Stack RoR Co-Founder / CTO

At SailZoo, being avid sailors ourselves we understand that finding the right service provider for your boat can be frustrating, which is why we're committed to making the process simpler and more transparent. By joining our team, you'll be helping to shape the future of SailZoo's platform and make a real impact in the leisure sailing industry.

Responsibilities:

As a Co-founder / CTO at SailZoo you will get your hands dirty in Backend and DevOps on Ruby on Rails. You'll be responsible for building a tech team while maintaining and enhancing our existing web applications, as well as helping us develop new features as we expand to other markets. You'll work collaboratively with our UX team to ensure that our platform provides transparency and ease of use for sailors and retailers alike.

Requirements:

You're a skilled Software Developer who is interested in joining a startup. You have a strong understanding of optimizing and scaling web applications, and it's a BIG plus if you have experience in Software as a Service (SaaS).

You're an ideal candidate if you have +3 years hands-on experience in:

• Ruby On Rails framework.

• Developing RESTful APIs and integrations.

• PostgreSQL data structures.

• Git Version Control System.

• Tailwind CSS

• Developing intl. pricing setup and country-specific subscription models within the web application.

3. You can easily assess a technical situation and explain it to non-Dev. individuals in Layman's terms

4. You are Proactive and a go-getter

5. Highly adaptive and ready to pivot no matter how great you think your code is.

Preferred Location:

We welcome applications from candidates located in Denmark or those within convenient and affordable transit distance to Denmark. Being in or near Denmark is a necessity for us to enhance collaboration and engagement within our team.
