Founded in 2018, Kamupak is a pioneer in a circular economy, with a mission to reduce waste generated by single-use packaging. Kamupak’s digital platform that reduces waste by facilitating reusability for restaurants, cafes, and beyond.

Due to our ongoing growth and increasing product development needs, we are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Backend or Full Stack) to join our team. We are looking for a skilled individual who has a solid technical foundation and is passionate about applying software development skills to solve real-world problems. This is a key role in Kamupak’s exciting growth journey. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architecture, development, and deployment of the Kamupak software platform.

• Collaborate with the Kamupak team to ensure the technical system is aligned with the business objectives.

• Engage actively with the Kamupak team, to understand our existing systems and ensure consistent progress in our development goals.

• Lead and guide outsourced developers, facilitate new developer onboarding, and manage interactions with external parties utilizing our APIs.

• Monitor and improve the performance of the system as necessary

To succeed in this role ideally, you have the following skills and competences:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• Solid proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language, with an understanding of common languages such as TypeScript and Python.

• Good understanding of Databases/SQL, DevOps (CI/CD, Google Cloud, Kubernetes)

• Experience with API design, development and integration.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

We are thrilled if you have 

• Familiarity with web and/or mobile app development, e.g. with React, React Native

• Understanding of ERP systems and their functionalities.

• Some leadership experience
