Join Phlit and make a real impact on the energy transition as an all-around software engineer!
Phlit, founded in 2021 is on a mission to accelerate the green energy transition. We found out that many power converter-driven assets, such as pumps, compressors, heaters, and fans, are controlled in an energy-inefficient manner. Our goal is to optimize their control by collecting data and making intelligent decisions based on it.
Furthermore, we believe that these power electronic assets can serve as virtual batteries, which is crucial due to the unpredictable nature of renewable energy sources like solar and wind.
As an integral part of our team, you will actively contribute to product development, DevOps, and cloud architecture discussions. You'll work alongside our data team, implementing their models on IoT edge computers. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to help mature our Continuous Integration pipeline and enhance our software development practices.
Your contributions at Phlit:
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for product development
• Implement automatic alerting mechanisms to monitor and address unexpected situations

• Familiarity with design patterns and clean code principles
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
• Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, CI, and Git is preferred
Technologies we work with:
Our IoT controllers are built on the Azure IoT Edge framework using Docker containers. The IoT modules are programmed in Python. Within the Azure cloud, we have multiple Cloud Functions for near real-time optimization and machine learning models that create various Digital Twin modules.
