About the Role 

As a Senior Back-End Developer, you will be a pivotal part of our product development, working closely with our experienced founder team. You will have a significant impact on the overall design and development of our product. Collaborating with the product team, you will build a cutting-edge product that seamlessly integrates commercial and technical requirements.

What You'll Do

  • Design scalable event-driven back-end applications in Kotlin.
  • Work with application architecture, design, feature development, and testing.
  • Continuously improve back-end application architecture and quality.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in relevant technologies and share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate daily with other product team members in work prioritization, design workshops, pair programming, code reviews, etc.
  • Coach and mentor junior developers.
  • Participate in daily standup meetings with the development team.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as front-end developers, UX designers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Integrate external services and interface with third-party solution providers.

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of practical experience in back-end development.
  • You have experience working with Kotlin, Spring Boot, CQRS/ES, DDD, web application security and automated testing.
  • You take pride in writing clean code.
  • You are willing to experiment and deliver incremental ("good enough") features.
  • You are eager to take on more responsibility and lead others.
  • You are a resident of a European country.
