MedicQuant, a startup based in Aarhus, is developing in vitro diagnostic medical devices with a vision to become the leading company in drug quantification at point of care – helping patients and clinicians around the world. We are currently seeking the right self-starting candidate to be part of the core team to help drive the hardware development of our technology platform.

What will you be doing:

In you day to day operations, you will be main driver and project manager of hardware development, which includes both plastic-based consumables and a medical device. You will be in charge of independent projects, providing management with input relevant to strategic decisions and working with third parties on the development.

Responsibilities & key tasks:

• Manage and co-develop plastic-based consumables for use in our medical device solution with external partners.

• Lead the development of the hardware, together with third parties, from early iteration to launch and beyond.

• Ensuring compliance with QMS and other regulatory requirements.

• Take ownership of your work and independently drive projects forward, continuously learning and acquiring new

  skills to overcome challenges.

• Collaborate closely with external partners and manage these relationships effectively.

• Communicating and networking to identify and pursue new opportunities.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual who takes initiative and is able to drive projects forward independently. The role will have a strong emphasis on project management and technical competencies within product development from early concepting and prototyping to design, QMS, and specification freeze, as well as manufacturing follow-up after product launch.

As such, we imagine that you have:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a technical project manager or a similar role ideally within the medical device, injection moulding, or a related field.

• An educational background in engineering or a related field, with a focus on product development, mechanical or production engineering - proficiency in CAD modelling/software is preferred.

• A strong desire to be part of a startup journey and contribute to its success.

• Ability to take responsibility for your work and drive your own projects.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, adapt quickly to new challenges, and acquire new skills as needed.

• Experience working with embedded devices, software and collaborating with external development partners is preferred.

• Experience with injection molding and prototyping will be advantageous.
