We are seeking a volunteer Content Writer for Instagram & Facebook to support our Team.

About us

The Considerate Consumer is a digital manual for sustainable living that educates consumers on making more sustainable purchase decisions.

How? We built a digital manual for sustainable everyday consumption, The Considerate Consumer. The backbone of TCC is a team of engaged, highly motivated, and optimistic sustainability enthusiasts from different nations and fields. We aim to save our planet by making all consumers transition towards a more sustainable lifestyle. We are here to inform, to inspire, and to encourage – we are here to help.

The Team

You'll be part of a strong team of over 20 highly engaged and passionate individuals who thrive in our fully remote work environment. Our team is fully international and dedicated to creating a greener future and guiding everyone toward a more sustainable lifestyle.

About the role

We are looking for a talented and creative individual to help us create engaging and informative posts for our social media platforms. As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating original and high-quality content for our Instagram and Facebook pages.

The position is unpaid, however, it provides an excellent opportunity for you to gain experience in content creation for social media, build your portfolio, and work alongside a supportive team of professionals.

What You’ll Do

• Suggest, develop, and create engaging and informative content for our Instagram and Facebook pages.

• Collaborate with our team to develop content strategies that align with our brand and values.

• Research industry trends and best practices to enhance our content quality and performance.

• Utilize social media management tools to schedule and publish content.

• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on our social media platforms.

About You

• Great writing and communication skills.

• Good understanding of social media platforms, specifically Instagram and Facebook.

• Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Passion for sustainability, ethical consumption, and environmentalism
