About us

Kobbr is on a mission to lead craftsmen, such as electricians, painters and carpenters, into a data driven future.

Craftsmen are used to old and outdated software that requires several training days to master. We are building a product that our customers actually love to use and requires no training to get started.

Our approach sets us apart from traditional software companies in the industry. We prioritize integrating seamlessly with existing tools, rather than replacing them. Kobbr simplifies workflows and decreases manual tasks by offering a modern alternative to pen, paper, and Excel.

Since our software can be easily integrated with craftsmen’s existing software, it shortens our sales processes significantly and opens the opportunity for product-led growth.

About you

You are a self-starter, with previous strong results as a business developer and a passion for technology and ideally also the craftsmen industry. Skilled in building relationships and conveying the value of software solutions, you excel in a dynamic startup environment. You are a team player who contributes positively to our growing company culture.

You identify opportunities for growth, develop strategic plans to achieve ambitious goals.

Our office is located at StartupLab in Oslo where you will have your own fixed desk together with us. Hybrid work flexibility is important to us and we have no mandatory office days. We will together with you find the office working style that suits our need.


Tasks can include, among others

  • Orchestrate a comprehensive business development plan that aligns perfectly with our bold vision.

  • Lead the charge to new territories and expand our customer base. Streamline our marketing efforts and sales funnel, and optimize conversion rates.

  • Our goal is to expand outside Norway in early ‘24 and you will be the driver for our expansion and decide where, when and how we should expand.

  • Leverage your negotiation skills to forge strategic partnerships that increases our national and international market reach, and at the same time keeping our existing partners engaged.

  • We recently signed a marketing agreement with the world’s largest distributor of electrical materials to market us to their customer. You will be given the responsibility to put it into action to generate warm leads.

  • Work closely with the team to guide the direction of product development. Use your insights from market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to build our next breakthrough feature or product.

  • Keep a close eye on the competitive landscape. Your insights into market trends and competitors' strategies will be extremely important.

  • Play a key role in fundraising efforts and keeping our current and future investors in the loop.


We are looking for a person with some of the following qualifications

  • Experience in business development preferably in the software and technology industry with a focus on product-driven growth.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for meetings, events, and presentations.
