Just to set expectations - we've already brought in a fantastic data science intern for this position, raising the bar higher for what we expect. That means we're looking for someone as exceptional to join us next. We can't wait to hear if you believe you can match or exceed high standards!

We're excited to welcome someone with a flair for artificial intelligence into our team. Working elbow-to-elbow with our engineering team, you'll get to dig into cutting-edge large language models (LLM) and implement and assess prototypes for our unique business domain - medical device certification.

This internship offers an incredible chance to gain experience and work with our talented founding team. And hey, it could also lead to a paid position based on your and the company's performance.

Here's what a typical day might look like:

• Diving deep into the world of large language models, drawing up a list of potential leads.

• Sifting through this list to find the models that could be the answer to our challenges.

• Bringing these models to life in the form of prototypes and demos.

• Measuring how these prototypes perform with data and presenting your findings.

• Collaborating with our vibrant team, participating in discussions, and keeping us in the loop with your progress.

We're hoping you'll bring the following to the table:

• A passion for learning any subfield of artificial intelligence (concrete examples are a big plus!).

• A degree (or currently pursuing one) in computing, engineering, mathematics, or physics.

• Impressive mathematical, algorithmic, and programming skills (you'll be writing code).

• Ability or willingness to learn AI tools that can make your work more efficient.

• Stellar English communication skills (no other languages required).

You'll walk us through your portfolio of projects, answer some coding questions (using your preferred programming language), and present your solutions (this should take around 2 hours).

If all goes well, we'll discuss the next steps.
