About our game

GAMUCATEX is an early-stage startup that is developing a card-based autobattler video game in a historical mythological universe. Inspired by games such as Magic, Civilizations, the Age of Empires and Heroes, our aim is to create an immersive and historically accurate game that inspires people to immerse themselves in history experiencing stories of the Vikings. The player will be taking charge of a faction - either Viking, Frankish, or Anglo-Saxon - which they will follow through history; experiencing past events according to historical records. Battles on a turn-based board will take place online for multiplayer and can be offline in single-player scenarios. You will lead your forces to your enemy’s lines and holding your morale high, you will dominate the fight!

Details

The position can either be onsite, hybrid or remote, part-time or full-time. As we are currently seeking funding, the position will be unpaid but can contribute to an internship or a virksomhedspraktik benifits through the Danish Jobcenter. Our offices are located in three locations: Copenhagen at Amager/Nørrebro and Frederiksberg.

The position & Responsibilities

The tasks will be varied and you will have a lot of freedom in defining what you will do and identifying what needs to be done. You will assume a central function in the team.

You will be the key driver in polishing the business plan, and business model and building strong business cases as well as fundraising for us; either as soft grants or crowdfunding.

We ask that you attend our weekly business meeting and end-of-the-week wrap-up / social event as well.

It would be nice if you could also:

• Do market research; to understand our market, competitors, and customers

• Help with marketing

• Establish collaborations with partner institutions and other businesses - merging research into business

• Build on our strong company strategy and identify pain points and opportunities

Some tasks will be practical such as calling external parties others will be theoretical and analytical. You will update your own tasks on our online system.

Requirements

• You can communicate well in English

• Either experience working in a startup, studying a business degree, or have graduated
