The Medical & Science Specialist is an essential member of our team, responsible for driving new product innovation and leading and supporting clinical research with expertise in regulatory, scientific, medical, psychological, and nutritional sciences. They will evaluate product innovations, including gathering, organizing, and analyzing product reviews and competitive product analyses. They will also plan, organize, finalize, and report soft funding applications, research funding applications, and lead medical trials.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field, basic knowledge of Medicine, Nutrition or Psychology, and Regulations, and experience in leading clinical and scientific projects. They must have extensive experience leading research projects, writing research reports and publications, supervising researchers or students, and successfully landing research funding. Effective communication of scientific publications, government documents, and health information to non-scientific audiences is also essential.
The ideal candidate should be highly responsible and motivated, able to work effectively in a team environment, and independently in a flexible work environment with changing priorities. They should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving skills, analytical skills, a critical mindset, and fluency in English and Norwegian. (German language skills are a plus)

Assist in product innovation
Collect, organize, and analyze health data
Plan, organize, analyze, and lead medical trials and medical innovation projects
Manage the medical innovation process of the product and ensure it meets high medical standards
Initiate and promote high-quality research projects both internally and externally
Attract relevant networks and partners for research, as well as strategic medical and scientific collaborations and partners
Lead, write, or co-write soft-funding and research applications and reports in relevant fields
Attract and supervise master's students and other students interested in projects
Communicate product and science to scientific and non-scientific audiences
Support the sales team
Lead and assist Research and Development (R&D) projects
Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g. medicine, nutrition, biomedicine, psychology, or physiotherapy)
Publications after a relevant PhD
Knowledge of medicine, nutrition, and regulations
Leadership experience and experience in leading clinical and scientific projects
Statistical knowledge and medical writing skills to publish scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals
Successfully finalized research applications and reports, soft-funding, and raised grants
Ability to assess and communicate product innovation, scientific publications, government documents, and health information to non-scientific audiences
Highly responsible and motivated individual with a commercial skillset
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently in a flexible work environment with changing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
