Breach is looking for an experienced and talented Lead 3D artist to help shape our art pipelines and inspire our existing team through impactful and high-quality creations. We create content and solutions for virtual, augmented, and mixed reality (VR / AR / MR / XR), with a strong emphasis on multi-user collaboration and cross-platform scenarios.

Breach saw its inception in late 2016, with three Norwegian co-founders meeting at the game-themed co-working space Work-Work. Breach has since grown to a team of 27 enthusiastic designers and developers, working on a variety of projects both internally as well as with clients and partners around the world.

The company headquarters is situated downtown in the tech-capital and university city of Trondheim, Norway, close to the main streets for bus, train, and tram, and a lively city center.

Responsibilities

• Research, design exploration, and prototyping to create compelling experiences and high-quality content.

• Work with the broader team and contribute to conceptual discussions across a variety of projects.

• Creating production-ready content for use in Unity and/or Unreal.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working as a developer in a relevant field.

• Expert knowledge in a leading 3D package - Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Modo.

• Experience with Creative Cloud products

• Prior experience with Substance Designer/Painter

• Ability and desire to work in smaller innovation-driven teams.

Bonus points

• Comfortable in taking the lead and encouraging others.

• Have a strong sense of priority.

• Familiarity with the content creation pipeline for Unity and/or Unreal

• Experience with Houdini or other procedural tools and pipelines

• Experience with shader creation, scripting, pipeline improvements, or other technical art areas

• A sensibility for design and user experience.
