Inventure is growing and looking for a Director of Portfolio Operations to join our down-to-earth crew split across our offices in Helsinki and Stockholm. This position can be held in either location.

Since 2005, over 85 companies have trusted us to back them, including Wolt, Blueprint Genetics, Swappie, and Lassie. Typically we invest in the Nordics and Baltics. We aim to be the first institutional investor that entrepreneurs turn to when raising their first round.

As the Director of Portfolio Operations, you will develop our operating model for the portfolio and lead with a hands-on approach to optimize performance and maximize value across companies. In more detail, the role includes but is not limited to:

• Build and leverage a strong network in the scale-up ecosystem to make sure our portfolio always has the best possible advice right at their finger tips.

• Run point on the needs of the entire portfolio and adapt our offering as founders’ needs change over time.

• Work on specific projects together with case managers (board members or someone on the investment team). For example, building international expansion strategy, building talent organisation, or improving unit economics.

• Support the investment team in winning deals by selling in our value ad.

• Set up partnership models with the most relevant consultancies and agencies (hiring, talent, go-to-market, pricing, etc).

• Be the owner of all portfolio benefits (partnership with AWS, Microsoft, and other providers).

To be successful in this role, we believe you’ll bring:

• Significant experience in operation roles in a fast-paced startup environment. Probably as COO, Chief of Staff, or similar.

• Ideally a few years of experience from management consulting, and can therefore get up to speed quickly on new industries, business models, and technologies.

• Strong ability to build relations with people throughout the ecosystem.

• Exceptional communication skills knowing how to effectively adapt communication to different audiences.

• Analytical skills - able to assess information and quickly draw relevant conclusions.
