Take the chance to be a part of FundingPartner, Norway’s perhaps most exciting fintech startup!
FundingPartner is a leading Nordic crowdlending platform that provides tailored and flexible debt financing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. By doing so, we enable companies to grow their team and finance their new projects, while our +17,000 investors in Norway, Denmark and Sweden get their part of the growth through fixed interest payments.
We’re now looking for a fullstack developer to join us as we scale our product even further.
As a full stack developer at FundingPartner you will get a broad experience with our entire tech stack, and have a great influence on the technology and solutions we use. We have a flat hierarchy where ‘the best idea wins’ regardless of who presents it, and a short process from idea to implementation. You will become an integral part of our tech team of 5 people and work closely with our CTO, Håkon.
Work Assignments:
Making new, and continuous developments to systems used by FundingPartner’s lenders, borrowers, and employees.
Developing user-friendly and appealing applications with the end-user in focus
On the front-end you will be responsible for improving customer interfaces such as the website, investment portal and mobile app, but also internal tools such as the system for analyzing companies.
On the backend you will work with APIs, self-developed platforms for analyzing company data, integrations with the rest of the Norwegian finance landscape, systems for combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as various tools for improving and automating processes.
You’ll also get the chance to work with financial modeling and analysis based on massive amounts of data points on Norwegian companies
Our tech specifics:
React & Typescript on frontend
Java, Python and Node.js on backend
Workflow based on Git, CI/CD and DevOps principles
Infrastructure on AWS, with Docker and Terraform
SQL and relational databases
Swift/Kolin for mobile app development
If you also have experience with Salesforce, we’d love to have a chat. You do however not need to have prior experience with all of the above - problem solving skills and being a quick learner is more important than experience with certain technologies or systems.
We’re looking for someone who likes to get into new technology and complex issues, and face new challenges with curiosity and energy. You should enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and closely connected team to solve unpredictable tasks. Most importantly, you are self-driven and eager, and are happy to take responsibility when you see that something can be done differently, better, or more efficiently.
In addition you:
Are based in Oslo and want to work from our office at least 50% of the time.
Ideally speak Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, and fluent English.
Preferably have a relevant university degree within informatics, computer science, software development or another tech-intensive field.
Have experience from full stack development, and have used some of the technologies and systems mentioned above
Have an interest in finance, and want to be a part of FundingPartner’s journey
At FundingPartner you will get the opportunity to work in a young and high-paced organization focused on problem-solving. We’re well known within the fintech world, and you will get close to the startup and venture ecosystem in Norway. Furthermore, you will work alongside skilled colleagues with experience from leading investment banks and consultancies.
With DNB and Schibsted as part-owners we get ‘the best of both worlds’ with stability and support from large and skilled owners, while at the same time being able to work independently and having autonomy when choosing which solutions work best for us.
What we offer:
A competitive salary
The opportunity to buy equity and be a part of owning the company you help develop
Nice offices located at Forskningsparken in Oslo, and the flexibility to work remotely a couple of days a week if you wish
Free lunch every day in the office
A lot of social activities and, for example, a yearly cabin trip. (We have also been to Spain together multiple times!)
We are reviewing applications on an on-going basis, so send your application today by attaching your LinkedIn profile here on The Hub!
We have a quick process from application to offer, consisting of three interviews. One initial informal interview with our CEO, Geir Atle, and two tech interviews, potentially including a case. During the tech interviews you will meet both our CTO, Håkon, and have a chance to meet your future colleagues in the tech team.
