Impactpool is a SaaS-enabled career platform for talents and organizations that wants to make a positive impact and contribute to sustainable development. Today we have over 700 000 talents and 2300 customers using our platform.
We offer a position in an innovative, diverse, and growing company that only works with clients contributing to positive impact and sustainable development. We are a remote-first company, and even though we have our HQ in Stockholm, we are spread out over the world.
We care a lot about our work culture and offer perks and benefits to keep us healthy and educated.
We want to strengthen our development team with a fullstack developer, preferably with an interest in the front-end.
Working for Impactpool you will be working in a team focused on building a fantastic product. A product that will enable our customers to work effectively.
The dev team is small, so we must be agile, striving to continuously support the business. Sometimes that means quickly shifting focus while remembering where the north star is. There will not be a lot of processes and ceremonies guiding the workday. Instead, we lean on conventions in the framework and take responsibility for the application. Because of this, it is essential to take responsibility for your work and the product as a whole, which 37 Signals would call managers of one.
This is still a small team, so you will be key in developing the product. This will include work on our customer-facing marketing pages, Consumer facing offerings, and the SaaS solution. For this position, we would prefer someone with full-stack experience and knowledge but with a particular interest in all things front-end.
We believe in technological simplicity and strive to reduce unnecessary complexity while maintaining an exciting intuitive experience. Therefore we have chosen to build on the Ruby on Rails framework and stick relatively close to it. This way, we can focus more on creating a great product instead of spending time on infrastructure and framework-related work. We use Rails with Hotwired and propshaft, with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch for the DB needs.
For this position, we will prioritize those interested and knowledgeable in the front-end side. Building UI, maintaining the CSS framework, obsessing over accessibility matters, site speed, and SEO. But as we are a small team, you will work on all parts of the product, from maintaining legacy code, developing new features, and assisting with second-line support.
We would love it if you have the below. All, or at least most of it!
