Customer Success Manager

Customer success manager for award winning, fast-growing climate tech startup, founded in 2020 out of Bergen, Norway.

The combined effects of climate change and urbanization are causing great challenges across the globe through devastating floods, landslides, and storms – and we have only seen the beginning. At 7Analytics, we are building the world's most advanced data-platform right at the intersection between natural hazards, risk management, and tech. As the winners of the Norwegian construction innovation award 2021 and geospatial data prize 2022, we are already in a position where we are contributing to a safer future - for people, nature, and critical infrastructure.

For our next growth chapter, we are looking for a great addition to our commercial team.

What will your new workday look like?

You will understand our customers and focus on solving their long-term needs. We have 50 Norwegian customers across industries today but are adding new ones each week – and the international business is just about to take off. You will build relationships, understand challenges, and make sure we are in strategic sweet spots.

Your main colleagues will be other smart and passionate members of our commercial team, but you will also work closely with our external sales crew and our tech team to develop high-quality solutions and ensure happy clients.

Sitting in our nice space at StartupLab together with our tech and commercial teams or remotely, your morning will start with joining a sales meeting with a major, new client to sow the seed for a long-term relationship. Afterwards, an existing client reaches out asking for your help to solve a critical issue. You and the product owner quickly find a solution that solves the matter, but it looks like the one-hour exercise you had planned will be pushed back a bit. After a joint lunch, you present your data-backed insights at an internal knowledge sharing event. Presenting the voice of the clients made the tech team prioritize the roll-out of much requested, new product feature.

Finally, in the afternoon you get on top of your HubSpot to-dos and plan a survey among a promising segment of clients.

On your way home, you feel like you made small but steady progress in the use of some really cool climate hazard solutions. You learned new stuff and had fun with your colleagues. You are already thinking about how to solve tomorrow’s challenges.

We hire talent with great mindsets. The rest, we can untap and develop together. However, checking some boxes of the list below sure helps

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree within urban planning, environmental engineering or a related field, but many backgrounds could be relevant.

  • Proven track record of being at the client frontline.

  • Relationship builder with appetite for strategic analytics.

  • Good oral and written communications skills in Norwegian and English.
