With over 1,000,000 monthly visitors, and with hundreds of thousands of active users, Colourbox is one of Europe's most exciting web-based companies, and harbours strong international ambitions.
Besides providing access to an extensive collection of stock images, Colourbox offers a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system called Skyfish. Skyfish is trusted by many of Northern Europe’s largest organisations, and their several thousand personnel, to securely store, organise and manage their image material along with their other files.
For both products at Colourbox, we offer our customers straightforward pricing, intuitive user experiences, easy firm-wide implementation, and fast returns on investment. To help us continue to develop our international sales team, we are looking for an experienced, dynamic Sales Director that is ready to lead from the front.
Leading our sales team at Colourbox involves every aspect of sales, including selling directly to lighthouse-visibility customers, and generating sales through partners. You will additionally work closely with our experienced CMO to develop international sales campaigns that focus on the Nordic and DACH markets.
You will optimise the sales process for both Colourbox and Skyfish, and educate your team on the sales process’s execution. Part of your optimisation will involve setting prices. You will systematise the many ways in which Colourbox’s and Skyfish’s offerings complement each other, and link the sales process for each product so that there are multiple opportunities for crossover sales between the two, using each product to drive revenue generation for the other.
Our diverse customer base ranges broadly, from some of the largest global companies, to intimate small- and medium-sized enterprises. As our Sales Director, you will be our customers’ authority on all sales-related matters for Colourbox and Skyfish. To ensure that we maintain good ties with our existing customers and with the broader market, you will also be directly responsible for overall sales activity in the Nordic region. Our DACH Region Manager will report to you.
Lastly, your sales role is also vital to our product development. You will therefore become a valued member of our management and growth team.
While your position is primarily associated with our office in Odense, you will have the flexibility to work from home within one of our main markets (DE, AU, CH, DK, SE, NO), or from our office in Berlin.
In sum, your job responsibilities will specifically include the following:
Direct sales to customers in the Nordic region
Develop and expand a strong Partner Program
Developing and optimising the sales process
Setting prices for our products and services
Educating and training our sales team
Developing and leading the execution of international sales campaigns
Collaborating with the CMO to drive sales growth in the Nordic and DACH markets
Being accountable for all direct sales activities and results
Contributing to product development and strategic decision-making as part of our management team
Identifying and developing new revenue streams, for both Colourbox and Skyfish
Upholding a culture of accountability, by setting the right metrics and tying company performance, compensation and promotions to tangible results
