Plateful is looking for a Full Stack Tech Lead to join their team and help reduce food waste.

Who are we?

Did you know that one third of the food produced worldwide never makes it to consumers' plates? To address this global issue, the United Nations, the European Union, and the Norwegian government have joined forces to reduce food waste by 50% before 2030. At Plateful, we're committed to being the trusted friend of chefs and food lovers, and we aim to elevate our love for food by taking better care of the planet's available resources. Our mission is to help food manufacturers reduce food waste and cost through our digital platform. To date, we've successfully transacted over 4.000 tons of food, and we're continuing to scale our business to have an even greater impact.

We have ambitious growth plans and are expanding. We recently carried out a rebranding and are in the process of building our product & technology team to scale further.

Who are we looking for?

Responsibilities:

• Design of all aspects of the software stack including front-end, back-end and overall solution design

• Hands on coding

• Coaching and providing technical leadership and direction to development teams

Required Experience:

• At least 6 years of experience in both front-end and back-end development

• Capable of writing high quality code in TypeScript and PhP. Knowledgeable in front-end and back-end frameworks and technologies including React, Redux, Material UI, Git, Symfony, Docker Swarm, MySQL, Mongo DB, RabbitMQ, Mercure etc.

• Foster energy from both hands-on coding as well as helping and guiding the development teams

• Familiarity with interaction design and how to create good user experience

• Understands how to solve problems, implement best practices and drive adherence to coding standards

• Working with ERP systems integration and development of middleware in order to transform value chains

• Ideally you have previously worked in the food industry and/or e-commerce and are familiar with the importance of product information management

• Experience from working in a DevOps culture and with frequent deployments

• Ability to think big and willingness to transform both Plateful and the industry we are operating in

Location:

• Moss, Oslo or remote in Norway
