About the role:

As a senior platform developer for Valohai you will be working on our Valohai MLOps platform, building and scaling the infrastructure.

⭐️ Design, build, and maintain our platform using the latest technologies and industry best practices

⭐️ Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

⭐️ Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in our platform

The job mainly focuses on backend coding and infrastructure, and we work with all the major Cloud providers.

About you:

Ideally, you have already had your share of experience in Python, TypeScript, the cloud, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), as well as experience with Django, React, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes. If you understand and feel for machine learning on top of everything, we might already love you.

Technology Requirements:

⭐️ Strong experience with Python

⭐️ Strong experience with TypeScript

⭐️ Strong experience with cloud-tech such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (Compute, Data, Networking)

⭐️ Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), most importantly Terraform

Knowing these technologies is also a definite plus:

⭐️ PostgreSQL

⭐️ Kubernetes

⭐️ CloudFormation and ARM templates

All team communication is in English, no Finnish is needed.
