Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to join our team. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs, and maximizing the value of the product. The ideal candidate will have experience in Agile software development methodology and a strong understanding of product management principles.

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on input from stakeholders, customers, and the development team

• Ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent, and understood by all stakeholders

• Collaborate with the development team to refine and clarify user stories and acceptance criteria

• Accept or reject work completed by the development team based on product vision and priorities

• Communicate product vision, progress, and priorities to stakeholders and the development team

• Conduct user research and market analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement

• Balance competing priorities and make tough decisions about what features and functionality to prioritize

• Ensure the team has a clear understanding of the customer's needs and priorities

• Continuously monitor and measure product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product value

  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an Agile software development environment

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies

• Experience with creating and prioritizing product backlogs

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with user research and market analysis

• Familiarity with waste management and sustainability concepts is a plus
