Job description

As a Design Assistance in WasteHero, your primary mission is to deliver tasks from design to development, quality assures the UI, and conduct UI research with our Design Lead (70%). You will also be helping to create commercial materials within the current design language(30%). This role will involve working 16 hours per week. You will be part of our Aarhus office (able to work onsite) with our team. The perfect candidate should be able to be detail-oriented, constructive with research, and open-minded. The environment at WasteHero is built on trust, so we expect you to thrive with responsibility and freedom. You will work closely with the designer and the developers in our development team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design team in delivering tasks to the development team.

• UI design quality assurance

• Helping to create some commercial materials

• Best UI practice research & documentation

• Creating graphics ( ex., Icons, social media posts)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced with Figma

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Understand the entire life cycle of a design system(s)

• Understand the principle of Atomic design.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Be proactive and able to think outside the current processes.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
