The vision of Vibrant is to create payment solutions for the world we wish to live in. We have developed a payment solution, which is an app for smart devices that enable businesses and merchants to take payments wherever they are - just by using the smart device. No more old-school terminals with power cables and paper receipts. Easy and simple. 

We have recently raised considerable seed funding to support our journey, and we are looking for a Financial Controller to be based at our Aarhus office. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with and report directly to our CEO, Kasper Krog.

The target for this role will be to deliver a framework for financial forecasting and ensure our financial framework is ready to launch in new markets.

The Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)

• Produce transparency and insights of our financial performance & figures. Reporting those on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

• Bookkeeping: Approving and monitoring all transactions

• Setting up the operational model for our remote team with the purpose of market expansion

• Analyze and report on sales & monitor margins

• Provide accurate analyses to support the management team in decision-making

• Presentations of financial performance and outlook

• Optimize internal processes and lead important finance tools within monthly, quarterly and annual closings

• Drive budget, forecast and rolling forecasts. 

Purpose & success criteria

Show accountability and take operational responsibility to act as our Finance business partner with the goal of supporting the organization

Be a key partner on business support by providing enriching figures and insights to our management team, such as: Contribute  and provide context and insights for strategy, growth, pricing, and customer analysis. Provide financial information and translate data into insight and actions in the business. Ensure high accuracy quarterly forecasts and leverage our proprietary metrics to ensure high business performance. Support project teams to guide their focus onto key performance issues and help them measure their impact and improvement.

Reporting: Internal and external reporting to our investors and VC’s. Preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, management reports, KPIs and variance analysis. Take lead on internal and external statutory audits and finalization of the annual reports. Experience with accounting guidelines.

Finance: Ensure high accuracy in financial figures both from a technical and operational finance perspective to sustain our high credibility in the organization. Help ensure smooth credit control procedures and cash flow statements.

Does this sound like you?

We imagine that you have 3-5 years Finance or Accounting experience. Strong organizational skills, the ability to communicate clearly and being a team player is a must as well as the attention to detail, ability to multitask and accountability to the overall mission and vision.

Moreover you will have to maintain confidentiality. Working at times with sensitive and confidential data means that you must be highly trustworthy and understand how to partition information. You need the ability to communicate to and manage expectations of numerous executive and senior level relationships.
