About Nexro

Nexro is an early phase startup with the mission of empowering the music industry. We are developing our predictive analytics to give the music professionals true insights from music trends. We gather data from streaming platforms, social media, radio stations and music consumption to deliver real-time trends predictions for labels, publishers, marketing, promotion and other music industry professionals that wish to leverage their operations with the power of data and AI.

Autonomy and determination is critical in this position as we are a small team with big milestones ahead. You would be joining a small flexible team where all have their responsibilities, everyone is working towards the same goal.

What will you be doing?

You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

• Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing

• Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms

• Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production

• Generate actionable insights for business improvements

What are the qualifications?

The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. 

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)

• At least 1 - 2 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling

• Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms.

• Efficiency with Python is required.

• Familiarity with SQL is a significant plus.
