Our growing international team of developers works remote-first with a variety of work responsibilities. We are building our team for long-term employment sincerely and with true purpose.

Your role and key responsibilities:

As a backend developer you will be an important member of our core development team. Your work will consist of the continuous development of Custobar’s innovative, world-class Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Marketing Automation software. This backend development focused role is very hands-on, and consists of at least the following:

• developing software to support data integrations

• delivering product features

• supporting the platform with bug fixes, etc.

  
  

And most of all, delivering first class technical solutions to make our customer’s lives easier and helping colleagues in other squads navigate the product in our low threshold, ‘there are no silly questions’ work culture.

Our expectations for you to be successful in this role:

• Very good understanding of Django (the more experience the better)

• Good understanding of Python and Elasticsearch

• Knowledge of Celery, Postgres, Redis, DRF, Docker and K8s

• Familiarity with test-driven development

• A curious mindset (there are no stupid questions!)

• Willingness to learn and a go-getter attitude

• Fluent communication skills in English

We consider it an advantage if you also know modern frontend tooling (TypeScript and Vue).
