Hormona is a venture backed, data-driven Femtech company located between London & Stockholm. We're on a mission to revolutizing women's health by helping women to take control of their hormones. We're a small and ambitious team looking for a rockstar Technical Lead to take ownership of our App, and take our tech stack to next level!

What you’ll do

As a TechLead you will be one of the key members of the leadership and an essential part of Hormona's mission. You will help us to improve our app, and make it ready to scale on a global basis. You will also be part of integrating our medical device to our app that's to launch next autumn. You’ll be working with a modern tech stack - with NestJs (Typescript), React Native (Expo), GCP & postgreSQL. This role is very hands on and also involves hiring, growing and leading the tech team;

• Develop best-in-class iOS and Android user experience with security as a high priority

• Hands-on development of new features and products

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across our platform.

• Lead the development efforts from planning to daily execution

• Continuously evaluate and use the most appropriate technical solutions, always aiming for high quality and scalability.

• Help to identify “bad patterns” in engineering and suggest solution, and continuously improve the engineering process

• Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle as well as engage in architectural improvements

• Create strategies for how data can be leveraged to create value.

• Ensure secure solutions, in compliance with highly regulated standards of the healthcare sector.

• Work closely with our Product Manager and CEO to bring the best possible solution to the market

Qualifications

• 4 years’ of working experience as a full stack app developer

• Comfortable working in our tech stack

• Experience with app development, Git and continuous integration/delivery

• Experience building complex customer-facing products

• Autonomous and responsible, work well in a distributed team

• An understanding of user experience and its importance in digital product development

Nice to haves

• Experience in healthcare/medtech startup

• Early stage start up experience

• Experience in machine learning
