The forests also produces renewable raw material for construction, packaging, energy and much more. However, it lacks a digital marketplace for the values the forest creates. On Virkesbörsen forest owners can:

• Sell timber and get offers on our marketplace

• Compare timber prices in our price comparison

• Compare interest rates and find the correct bank in our forestbank comparison

• Plan their forestry using our planning service

And forest companies/forest buyers can:

• Find timber and leave offers

• Buy timber and make deals with forest owners

Your responsibilities Maintaining and further developing the current platform we have built with the technologies described above. But your responsibilities at Virkesbörsen will also include building new products and innovating the forest industry in ways not done before. You will also be involved with building our internal admin panel. To be able to work with us you will need to have a passion for coding. We expect you to learn as you go and find your own solutions to the problems we ask you to solve. While working for us you will be challenged to solve problems you’ve not solved before and be expected to figure out the solution by yourself with help from the programming team.

What we offer

As you become more established in our codebase you will eventually be given more responsibility over a certain area of our codebase where you will be responsible for code reviews and feature implementations to a greater extent.

We work hard to offer a good working environment, this means we are flexible around you day to day life and try to keep stress levels low. We work a minimum of 3 days a week remotely, but the position is located in Stockholm and sometimes it will be a requirement to be at the office.

Work requirements Minimum 2 years work experience or Bachelors degree.
