Who we are:

Nordic Blockchain Association is the largest non-profit Web3 organization in the Nordics.

Our goal is to disseminate knowledge of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLTs) to empower organizations in addressing the challenges of the society. Together with our partners, we are equipped to help businesses and organizations in investing and integrating blockchain technology in their core processes. On top, we promote this technology by arranging a series of workshops, events and conferences to give blockchain enthusiasts a real place to meet and network.

What you’ll be doing:

Coordinate speaker hospitality before, during, and after the event. Prepare speakers for presentations and the event schedule. Maintain all-around relationships with speakers. Help shape the largest blockchain conference in Scandinavian history. In this position, you will be reporting to the head of content and speakers. 

You will be responsible for…

• Help define what goes in the speakers’ package across various profiles and tiers.

• Make sure that the call-outs for the speakers and moderators are ready.

• Establish a connection between the content and the speakers and moderators.

• Be the contact point for a group of moderators and speakers.

• Take care of communicating and making initial contact with the speakers.

  
  

Qualifications:

No strict requirements but any experience with the following is a plus:

• Event management experience

• A Knowledge of and Enthusiasm for Blockchain

• Communication/marketing background 

• A solid understanding and proven experience of what works visually.

• A self-starter, with proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent at organization and project management, with a strong attention to detail.

• The sensitive and confidential nature of our work requires strong personal character, integrity, judgment, maturity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Able to work independently, through support from the marketing and event teams when required.

• A scheduled flexibility and control over your own hours; you can work full-time or part-time (mandatory meetups on Tuesdays from the afternoon until the evening).
