Åpenhet is a Norwegian GovTech based in Oslo and Paris. We specialize in good governance and data-driven policymaking. We build modern web tools to provide transparent, accessible and reliable data to civil society organizations and policymakers.
These tools help raise awareness and increase outreach for our partners' activities on topics we care about, such as education, environment, cooperation, public integrity and human rights. After a few years of starting up, testing out and working on diverse projects, we are now entering a new phase of our development. We want to increase our capacity to create high-quality designs and imagine new ways of visualizing data to provide impactful storytelling for policy recommendations and research.
About the role
As a front-end developer at Åpenhet you would be able to learn and experiment new data visualization techniques, work closely with our designer on UI/UX improvements and help us refine our workflow processes. Our current development team is small, but our ambitions are high, making your role all the more important.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with others and willing to take initiatives to improve our stack. We develop multiple types of products ranging from data exploration portals to full-fledged database visualization platforms.
And if you’re already familiar with some of these, that’d definitely be a plus:
