Role background

Droppe is an online wholesale marketplace that helps industrial buyers bulk order from Europe’s top equipment manufacturers. At Droppe, we are bringing leading industrial brands to one place, unlocking access to direct bulk orders, and ultimately, getting European wholesale more connected.

Since 2020, Droppe has served 750+ industrial buyers in 3 countries.

As a Paid Marketing Manager, you will have ownership of defining how our B2B paid marketing machine will run and how it will be built. Your impactful mission is to create the paid marketing function that fuels our marketplace's expansion in terms of buyer acquisition, lead generation, customer growth, product adoption, and user retention as well as building the metrics and analytics relating to these.

In this role, you'll get a lot of help and support on the way but are also expected to grow into being a highly-driven independent player with an exceptional ability to execute every single day. We give full freedom for you to choose if you want the position to be remote, hybrid, or in-office. Droppe currently has offices in Helsinki, Finland, and in Cologne, Germany.


What you'll be doing

  • Define the vision for how our paid marketing strategy will become one of the key elements of our growth

  • Collaborate with teams across the company ranging from Product, Sales, Supply, Recruiting, and Growth to understand our customer's pain points and gains

  • Define and build a well-oiled paid marketing machine with the corresponding marketplace metrics

  • Inspire—execute campaigns and marketing efforts inspiring our buyers and manufacturers to reevaluate how industrial wholesale should work

  • Get your hands dirty—designing, executing, and testing campaigns

  • Distribute and promote—planning and testing distribution and promotion channels

  • Think global—create a marketing playbook that is syndicated and distributed across all of our target European markets

  • Marketing enthusiast; proven track record in paid marketing

  • Analytical & data-driven marketer capable of building paid marketing analytics & metrics

  • Confident & energetic; professional and impact-driven approach in doing

  • Result-driven & resilient; ability to excel in a rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent listener; understanding the requirements of industrial buyers and how Droppe can meet their needs

  • You can fluently communicate in English (and additionally one of the following Swedish, German or Finnish)
