QBite Technologies is launching a consumer driven housing portal that simplifies the experience of connecting people & properties.

We are looking to hire a frontend developer that wants to take on critical responsibilities and help us transition from pre-launch prototype to a commercial product. We are looking for someone with a passion for creating a beautiful design.

You should expect to get a lot of independence and responsibility right away, and to learn at high speed!

We work with Svelte and TypeScript as frontend technologies and Python as a backend and data science technology.

What You Will Do

• Implementing new functionality in close collaboration with Manager and backend developer

• Advising on implementation and technology on new and existing features (we don't just ask our developers to code, we want you to share your opinion)

• Optimization of existing features

• Fixing the occasional bug every now and then

• Reviewing code from your new best friends (your colleagues)

• Collaborating with data scientists on making machine learning methods easily accessible through our frontend

Ideally, you have

• Programming skills; HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is a must, experience in Svelte is strongly preferred, but experience in a similar framework such as React or Vue is also fine.

• Experience with software development (including git, CI/CD, unit testing)

• Experience with building responsive web applications

• Experience with databases & APIs

• Knowledgeable about web standards, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility

• Detail-oriented and has a sense of quality in deliveries

• Initiative, flexible, responsible and has a high degree of independence
