Axo Group is the Fin-tech company providing the personal finance app Defero! The app provides consumers personal credit insight for free. The Defero app has had tremendous success since it was introduced 4 years ago and we are now looking to scale and take it to the next level. To do this we need more talented developers!

The Team

You will become a member of a Product & Tech team located in Oslo, building a multi-language, highly scalable, cloud native, multi market personal finance solution, with no legacy code.

Your responsibilities will grow to match your abilities and experience.

Your role

• Working in a multifunctional team with high influence on how the Defero platform is built

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, collaborating with the team

• Write high-quality, tested, peer-reviewed code

• Identify opportunities and implement solutions to improve engineering productivity

Skills and qualifications

We expect well-structured readable code. We work with the latest technologies, using a modular monolith and several micro services deployed on AWS ECS.

Your skillset might look like this:

• Experience with programming in php, kotlin or java or would like to transition from comparable language

• Eager to write understandable code

• Been writing web services/API’s for the last couple of years

• Experience with micro services and AWS is a plus

It is important for our Product team that everybody feels responsible for following personally assigned tasks through to completion and taking ownership over development tasks and continuous improvements.

Experience and proven competencies are more important to us than a diploma or a formal education.
