Frontend Developer at BioLean

At BioLean we build advanced prediction and visualization solutions that are tailored for biotech applications. Our mission is to provide clients with new knowledge and deep insights on the development of critical operational tasks, which lead to improved operations of pilot and production assets, increased productivity and reduced risks.

As frontend developer you will work together with our diverse team of industry and machine learning experts to build state-of-the-art machine learning solutions for the pharma, biotech and food industry to solve business critical issues. We already have solutions implemented at multiple customer sites and are currently expanding. Therefore, we are looking for you to join us in advancing the UX and UI of our platform and specific customer solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with data scientists on making state-of-the-art machine learning methods easily accessible through our frontend

• Developing highly maintainable well-documented code and implementing best practices for software development in our company

• Designing a new admin-panel for our platform

• Collaborating with our customers on delivering production-ready systems

Ideally, you have:

• A relevant university degree

• Design skills

• Extensive programming skills (HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is a must, experience in React strongly preferred)

• Experience in software development (including git, CI/CD, unit testing)

• Experience in building responsive web applications

• Experience with databases & APIs

• Knowledgeable about web standards, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility

• Danish CPR-Number (must)

It would be an advantage if you also have some experience with developing dashboards.

Having to fulfil all the points above is not a must. For us it is much more important that you are a quick learner and are ambitious and dedicated to your tasks with a hands-on mentality. In general, we expect you to have strong development and deployment skills and therefore you should also be confident to take the lead and work independently when taking care of the above-named responsibilities.
