CTO role

Our new CTO will be the executive responsible for managing technology within our organization.

You will be responsible for our technology strategy, cybersecurity and be a part of our product development team. You understand broad technology trends and are able to align innovation with our business goals.

Main tasks

As a senior technologist in our company, utilizing technology to drive business value is highly important. You will be responsible for the technology strategy and governance, business systems, technology innovation, and product development together with product development team and deliver amazing products

• You will be responsible for connecting the technology with the vision and business goals and making sure the two matches.

• Make technical and architectural decisions and be responsible for software and product development, running of our e-health and mobile platform and run our technical help desk.

• Explore and adopt new technology that gives us a competitive edge

• Passionate about managing technology resources and collaborate with our external tech team with UI & UX designers, user research, testing, DevOps

• Use our customers' feedback to make necessary improvements and adjustments to our technology

• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance

• Be responsible for data security and that we follow the Norm and all safety standards within health

• Understand and follow the FHIR standard

• Establishing policy and principles, and work on a technology governance board

• Some of the technology we are using is Heroku, Ruby on Rails, NodeJs, Kotlin, Swift 5.1, AWS, Firebase, Google +++

  
  

Language requirement; English & Norwegian

Language nice to have; Polish and German

Location; Oslo, Tromsø and can be flexible in the CET+2 time zone

Qualifications

You have expertise in IT infrastructure, architecture, security, asset management, help desk support, research and development

• Ability to conduct technological analyzes and research

• Strategic thinking

• Solution oriented

• Curiosity and knowledge of technological trends

• Good communication skills

• Practical experience as a developer, preferably full stack is a plus

• Experience with APIs

• Familiar and curious about AI and algorithms

• Focused on excellent user experience

• Relevant education in technology preferably at master's level, but experience in the field can also be accepted

• Can easily communicate with all stakeholders effectively. This includes communicating ideas, technical information and solutions to problems.
