In reality, the title is just a glorified description of a shitty role with next to no resources but let’s talk more about that later.
Our vision is to build a platform consumers can use to resolve any issue with any business globally.
Our product is an online consumer advocacy platform – nonono.com – which helps American consumers resolve complaints with big businesses.
Our mission is to fix issues and relationships between consumers and businesses.
Our purpose is to show the world how transparency, integrity, and customer service build trust and generate love and happiness for employees, customers, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders, and how it also delivers profitable results.
Problem: We have a rudimentary website (to put it mildly) but since we pivoted from a B2B to a B2C business model in April, our revenue has been growing organically by 10% week-on-week. We need help.
You probably don’t exist but in an ideal world, this would be a pretty accurate description of you, the ideal candidate:
You have a guerrilla marketer's mindset and you’re passionate about results
You have led the marketing of a growth company (first hire or co-founder) and you have a proven track record of driving marketing KPIs
You have experience executing go-to-market strategies in the U.S. market
You’re data-driven and interested in behavioral psychology
You understand SEO and love to create content, especially in writing
You’re obsessed with customer service and customer experience
You believe feedback is a gift
You could be willing to consider relocating to Tampere, the most attractive city to live in Finland though we emphasize that the ideal candidate could also work remotely
You’d be willing and able to go through a 3-month in-person accelerator program in H1 2023
Your native tongue is English or you have excellent English skills
You’d prefer ownership over a fat salary
You’re more ambitious than anyone you know.
You like to study marketing and business. You read a lot.
You check so many items off of the list above that we would be absolutely mad not to offer you a co-founder status
What would it mean to be a “hands-on CMO”?
First a bit of the background. We don’t have a product-market fit yet. We have a problem-solution fit and we’re still very much in the “doing things that don’t scale” phase. We plan to be frugal before we reach the product-market fit stage.
A whopping 50% of your working hours would be dedicated to customer service. Why? Well, we kind of sell customer service as a service. You need to understand every nut and bolt of what we do and you need to learn to know our audience. And because customer service is marketing.
The other 50% of your hours would be filled with the following responsibilities
Creating a category – resolution as a service
Working on positioning, brand building and strategic marketing
Creating content. A lot of content. And then distributing that content.
Copy-writing (if this is within your skill set)
Our culture
Our mottos are “do the right thing” and “assumption is the mother of all fuckups”.
Radical honesty and transparency are at the heart of our culture. You need to be able to give and take brutally honest feedback. Vulnerability is encouraged.
We understand the importance of personal growth
Empathy and nonviolent communication are at the core of how we work in our team and with our customers
We think big. BHAG: No No No is a member of the Help Billion People initiative which is only a loosely defined concept waiting to be launched with you
Benefits
Beginning every workday by reading testimonials and emails from grateful customers
Working for a CEO who gets marketing
