We’re looking for an SEM-specialist to join Happens growth/marketing team. You will mainly work with Google paid search (and a little bit with performance max and display). Our ambition is that you soon will be responsible for our google ads marketing channels. You will work closely with our COO to develop and execute SEM and other digital marketing strategies. At Happens we tend to wear many different hats, which means you’ll have one main responsibility, SEM, but the opportunity to work with and grow as a broader digital marketeer.
You’re a superstar in digital marketing and you have worked with google search professionally. You’re creative, like numbers, and finding solutions to problems. You love learning new things, trying out new tricks and hacks and best practices to optimize and improve results.

Set up, manage & optimize google search ads to reduce CAC
Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI and/or towards pre determined marketing goals
Track, analyze and report website analytics
Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
Research, analyze, and learn from competitors (with tools such as Ahrefs)
Create new and supercharge existing search ads
Professional experience from working with google search campaigns
Fluent in Swedish
We see it as meritorious if you have experience in more digital marketing channels such as Meta and/or experience from setting up, managing, and analyzing website and conversion analytics.
You are result oriented and find it easy to break down long term goals into smaller sub/short term goals to stay motivated.
You are flexible and can adjust your work tasks and priorities fast according to changing conditions. You’re open to help colleagues if you can even if it is not “on your table”. The circumstances can change fast at a startup and all of us need to be able to adjust after new goals and changes for the best of the company.
You enjoy working independently where you find it natural to solve problems that arise and take new initiatives to reach KPIs and goals.
