Claviate is a data and software company that monitors the installations of wind turbines worldwide using mobile cameras and artificial intelligence. We handle all aspects of the task from designing and producing the IoT-hardware to transforming data in actionable insights for our customers. Thereby we contribute in lowering the cost of renewable energy and accelerating the sustainable transition.

As there is a growing demand for our services, we are amongst other jobs opening a position for a software architect.

The job

You will join a team of 4-5 software engineers and data scientist that work closely together with software development, training/deployment of neural networks, database - and API design. You will work with the team in creating new software solutions and features. As lead software developer you will have the responsibility of defining and further developing our architecture and backend following best-practice architecture and design principles.

Your competences

You are a senior developer that has experience in setting up and working with ML pipelines. You preferably have experience with our tech stack which primarily consists of:

• Python

• AWS (and possibly Terraform)

• ML pipelines

• PostgresSQL

• GitHub

• Docker

• Linux

Our primary focus is on backend development but front end competencies specifically with ReactJS is an advantage.

You hold a degree in areas like computer science, software engineering or a related technical discipline and you are comfortable with a variety of programming languages and database structures. Furthermore, you have extensive programming experience and will bring theoretical knowledge and practical skills within professional software development into play. You will have your own domain, but you also enjoy the challenge in assisting your colleagues in fields outside your own area.
